lagoslife.eliysites.com
The URL lagoslife.eliysites.com holds a special place in Lagos Life Game history as the original public entry point where Nigerian developer Eliy first hosted the viral browser life simulation. Although lagoslife.app is now the primary branded domain, the eliysites.com address remains an official legacy redirect that thousands of players still use daily. This guide explains what EliySites is, why the URL persists in search results and social shares, how redirects work, and whether you should update your bookmarks in 2026.
What Is lagoslife.eliysites.com?
lagoslife.eliysites.com is a subdomain on EliySites, the hosting platform Eliy used for early Lagos Life deployments before the dedicated lagoslife.app domain launched. When the game went viral in early 2026, most viral TikTok clips, Twitter threads, and WhatsApp forwards linked to this exact URL. Players who registered through eliysites.com created accounts on the same server cluster that now powers lagoslife.app. The subdomain still resolves correctly and redirects to current game infrastructure maintained by Eliy.

Why Do Players Still Search for eliysites.com?
Search volume for lagoslife.eliysites.com remains high because viral content has a long tail. Early influencers filmed reaction videos using the original link. Reddit posts and Nigerian gaming forums indexed the URL before the lagoslife.app migration was widely announced. Diaspora communities shared eliysites.com in family group chats, and those messages still circulate months later. Google and Bing also surface the legacy URL for queries like "lagos life original link" and "eliysites lagos game."
- Viral video captions: Thousands of TikToks still display the eliysites URL in descriptions.
- Bookmark inertia: Players who saved the link in February 2026 never needed to change it.
- Search indexing: Older articles and forum posts rank for the legacy domain.
- Brand curiosity: New players encounter "eliysites" in comments and search the term directly.
None of this means the URL is outdated or dangerous — it means the community's memory spans both domains. Eliy intentionally maintains the redirect so no player loses access because of a branding change.
How Does the Redirect to lagoslife.app Work?
When you type lagoslife.eliysites.com into your browser, the server issues a redirect to lagoslife.app while preserving your session path where applicable. You land on the same login screen, registration flow, and game client as visitors who typed the primary domain directly. Patches, events, and virtual Naira balances sync through one account database. The redirect may add a fraction of a second to initial load, which is why we recommend lagoslife.app for new bookmarks — but gameplay after login is identical.
- Open lagoslife.eliysites.com in any modern browser.
- Allow the automatic redirect to lagoslife.app if prompted.
- Log in with your existing email and password.
- Continue playing with the same character, Naira, and progress.
- Optionally update your bookmark to lagoslife.app for faster future access.
Technical issues are rare, but if the redirect fails, try clearing cache or visiting lagoslife.app directly. Our FAQ covers troubleshooting steps for login and loading problems on both entry points.
Should You Update Your Bookmarks in 2026?
Updating bookmarks to lagoslife.app is recommended but not mandatory. The legacy URL will continue working as long as Eliy maintains the EliySites redirect — and the developer has publicly stated that existing links will remain functional. However, lagoslife.app appears on official social posts, press mentions, and community resources like this hub. Sharing the primary domain reduces confusion for friends who might question whether eliysites.com is legitimate.
| Scenario | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Sharing with new players | Use lagoslife.app |
| Personal bookmark since 2026 launch | Either works; update if you prefer |
| Embedded link in content you control | Update to lagoslife.app |
| Old viral post you cannot edit | No action needed — redirect handles it |
Players exploring the Lagos Life Game for the first time should start with lagoslife.app for the cleanest experience. Returning veterans with eliysites.com bookmarks can keep using them without fear of account loss.

The game attracted over 100,000 registered players and inspired the companion title Lagos Run Game. Eliy continues shipping updates such as the October 2026 boutique and family systems patch.

What Technical History Explains the eliysites.com Domain?
Understanding lagoslife.eliysites.com requires context about Eliy's development timeline. The game began as a browser experiment hosted on EliySites infrastructure — a platform Eliy used for rapid deployment without immediate custom domain investment. Early testers, friends, and initial viral sharers all circulated the eliysites.com link before lagoslife.app existed. When player counts surged past initial projections, migrating to a dedicated domain improved branding, CDN configuration, and marketing consistency across social channels.
The technical migration preserved all account data. Players who registered through eliysites.com in February 2026 retain identical characters, virtual Naira balances, and social connections when logging through lagoslife.app today. DNS redirect rules ensure HTTP requests to the legacy subdomain resolve to current game servers. This architecture decision prevented the community fragmentation that often occurs when games change domains without proper redirect planning.
How Should Content Creators Reference eliysites.com in 2026?
If you produce videos, articles, or social posts about Lagos Life Game, update new content to reference lagoslife.app as the primary link. However, acknowledge lagoslife.eliysites.com when discussing the game's origin story or responding to audience comments that mention the legacy URL. Accuracy builds trust with viewers who arrived through old links and wonder whether they played the "real" game.
- New content: Default to lagoslife.app in descriptions and pinned comments.
- Historical retrospectives: Mention eliysites.com as the original launch URL.
- Link roundups: List both URLs with explanation of redirect relationship.
- Phishing warnings: Clarify that only exact spellings are legitimate.
| Content Type | Recommended URL | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| TikTok bio | lagoslife.app | Shorter, cleaner for mobile viewers |
| YouTube description | lagoslife.app + link guide | Include safety context |
| Reddit comments | lagoslife.app | Reddit auto-moderation may flag unknown domains |
| Archived posts | No edit needed | Redirect handles traffic |
Community educators play a vital role in guiding new players from legacy links to current best practices. The eliysites.com chapter in Lagos Life history remains important — but lagoslife.app represents the game's present and future.
Why Does lagoslife.eliysites.com Still Matter for New Players in 2026?
Thousands of players still discover Lagos Life through lagoslife.eliysites.com links embedded in viral TikTok captions, WhatsApp forwards, and Reddit threads from early 2026. Eliy maintains this official legacy redirect so no bookmark breaks when branding moved to lagoslife.app. Both URLs connect to identical 18+ servers hosting Amala Shitta, CcHub, Afrika Shrine, NEPO/Middle Class/LAPO character creation, and virtual Naira economies shared across 100,000-plus registered accounts. New players arriving via eliysites.com should feel confident — they reached the authentic browser simulation developed by Eliy, not a phishing copy.
